
Denmark’s men’s and women’s national teams both took to the courts at Forum Horsens on Friday in front of an enthusiastic home crowd. That same passionate support was rewarded with victories in both Danish team ties, as the women set the tone before the men followed suit.

The Danish women faced a strong Indian side that started the tie brightly. Fortunately for the home fans, the Danish team proved even sharper throughout the contest.
Backed in part by Mette Werge and Amalie Cecilie Kudsk’s thrilling three-game victory, Denmark’s women secured a 3-2 win over India.

The Danish men’s team took on proud badminton nation Korea. Denmark proved too strong for their Korean opponents.
A razor-sharp Danish side emerged victorious in the team tie against Korea. One of the standout wins came from Anders Antonsen, who fought back to defeat Yoo Tae Bin in three games.
